We are sad to announce that, on August 28, 2025, at the age of 70, Gary Blackerby of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Hobbs, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Blackerby and Loleat Blackerby; his daughter Christina Haskell; and his brother Jerry Blackerby. He is survived by: his sisters, Nina Livingston of Durant, Oklahoma and Lou Ann Hoosier (Carl) of Durant, Oklahoma; his nephew Bruce Livingston (Karen) of Indian Land; his grandchildren, Cameron Haskell, Lauren Haskell and Chandler Haskell; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Haskell of Virginia and Riley Haskell of Virginia.
