She was predeceased by: her husband Odis Ray Kennedy; her parents, P. L. "Red" Harp and Gladys Harp (Sarrels); her siblings, Thomas Harp, Harry Harp and Ellen Teel; and her son-in-law Gerald Lummus.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kennedy (Annette) of Bixby, OK, Susan Lummus (Tony) of Durant, OK and Frieda Tisdel (Steve) of Ft. Worth, TX; her sister Janie Kirkpatrick of Durant, OK; and her grandchildren, Michael Kennedy-Angel (Amanda), Anne Engle, Luke Allen (Robyn), Zane Kennedy, Leslie Ellis (Colt), Robert Lummus (Amanda), Lisa Coker, Maegan Crawford and Nathan Crawford. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Durant (4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, OK 74701). Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
