It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Talbert of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Colbert, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Drake and Irving Drake; her husband Bill Talbert; her son-in-law Gary Smith; her grandson Cory Smith; and her siblings, Joe Drake, Fritz Drake, Martha Huckabay, Mary Stewart, Rachael Williams and Marjorie Brent.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Smith (Steve Chandler); her grandchildren, William "Billy" Talbert (Amy) and Julie Sullivan (Stacy); and her great grandchildren, Billy Talbert, Trevor Talbert, Grace Helen Hoffman, Cooper Hoffman and Mason Choate.
