He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Mae Doughty (Barnes); his wife Mary Hudson; his father John Doughty; his children, Paula Clark and Ricky Daugherty; and his brothers, Stewart Dean Doughty and Donald McCarty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Doughty of Cordell, Peggy Johnson of Mead, Judy Crunk of Chico and Sharon Blaylock of Alvarado, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Brenda Wilson of Durant, Brandon Johnson of Durant, Meagen Graham of Atoka and Mason Graham of Mead. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members.
