James Ralph Roberts Jr. Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of James Ralph Roberts Jr. (Sherman, Texas). James Ralph, born on November 22, 1930, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Christine Nichols Roberts and James Ralph Roberts; his wife Clara Jean; and his sisters, Ova, Opal, Evalie, Delois and Wilma (Jimmy Ruth).

He is survived by: his children, Pamela Jean Crouch of Grandbury, TX., David Cavin Roberts (Terri) of Ft. Worth, TX., James Stanley Roberts (Cathy) of Sherman, TX and Stephen Ray Roberts (Kelly) of Denver City, TX; and his sister Juanita of Wichita Falls, TX. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service, Inc.. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (4100 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75092).
