He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie Perkins and Elizabeth Perkins (Salyers); his wife Patricia; and his siblings, Ernest, Willie Jr., Dick, Haskel, Clarence, Larry, Dennis, Mack, Norma, Ruby and Geraldine.

He is survived by : his children, Jimmy Perkins (Tamara) of Durant, Anita Johnson (Jay) of Delaware, Ohio and Jason Perkins (John) of Napoleon, Ohio; his grandchildren, Caleb, Cali, Jared, Elizabeth, Hannah and Ian; his great grandchildren, Madden, Sutton and Tucker; and his siblings, Powell Perkins and Mary Rhoads.
