It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimsye Boman of Durant, Oklahoma, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smith and Mary Estelle Smith (King); her brother Scott Smith; her guardians, Pete and Opal King; and also Peter Boman.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Boman (Josh Estep) of Durant, Paul Boman (Sabrina Bergmann) and Christopher Wheeler of Wolfe City, Texas.; her grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Brittany Boman, Ryleigh Boman, Miraya Wheeler and Hayslee Wheeler; and her great grandchild Lucy Garrett. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
