He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Phelps; and his grandparents, Homer, Lottie Davis, Ted and Lois Phelps.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Phelps; his mother Mary Jane Eldenburg (Davis); his children, Ashton Senter (Kyler), Chris Buck (Heather), Falon Nelson (Chris) and Kim Phelps; his stepchildren, Heather Fults and Joshua Fults; and his brother Scott Daniels (Tracy). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
