It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Qualls of Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Qualls and Jennie Belle Qualls (Chaney); his brother Jimmy; and his half-siblings, Buck, Joe, Jerry Knight and Betty Williford.

He is survived by: his children, Shoney Qualls (Kim) of Noble, OK, Cherie Spencer (Dwight) of Sallisaw, OK and Allison Burris (Darin) of Celina, TX; the mother of his children Karen Moss Qualls; his grandchildren, Katherine Qualls Fay (Evan), Thomas Qualls (Jessica), Elizabeth Maechler (Daniel), Grant Spencer, Harrison Burris, Milana Burris and Isla Burris; and his cousin J. A. Chaney of Tecumseh, OK. He is also survived by many other nephews and nieces.

“I was my great pleasure to know Larry & admired his running accomplishments. He was always faithful to help sponsor the Kiwanis Nat'l Day of Prayer Breakfast. My last visit with him was in Oct at the new oncology center near Denison. So sorry I did not get to say goodby, but know I will see him again in Heaven. Dick Bogard”
