She was predeceased by : her grandfather Doc Mills; her parents, Roy F. Deventer and Ina Van Deventer; her sisters, Vivian June, Yvonne E and Janis M.; her son-in-law Jeffrey Gordon Thorstad; and her siblings-in-law, Molly Effland and Ed Hail.

She is survived by : her husband Boyd Dewitt Mills Sunday; her children, Byron Wayne Mills (Barbara Mills), Boyd Dee (Deborah Mills) of Caddo and Beverly "Sue" Thorstad (Mills); her grandchildren, Amber Ladawn McIntyre (Donald), Thomas Gordon Thorstad (Moon), Benjamin Jeffrey Thorstad (Kristie), Jennifer Lynn Burleson (Andrew), Brandon Jene Mills and Bryce Dewitt Mills; her great grandchildren, Lyndsey Dawn McIntyre, Conner Jeffrey Thorstad, Troy Benjamin Thorstad, Luke Ricky Thorstad, Abraham Sengone Thorstad, David Sengone Thorstad, Joseph Sengone Thorstad, Isabel Willow Mills, Kiera Rae Mills and Jack Daniels Mills; her brother Gale Roy Van Deventer (Patsy); and her siblings-in-law, Phill Timmons, Jeff Effland, Robert Mills and Annette Hale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Fusion Church (1097 Gerlach Dr, Durant, OK 74701). A burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
