He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. Rustin and Arlene Kissel Rustin. He is survived by: his wife Charla Ann Whisman; his children, Stuart (Annette) of Durant and Lisa Alex of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Brittany Solis, Brianna Baughman, Braden Solis (Courtney), Olivia Booth (Dayton), Grant Rustin and Landon Rustin; his great grandchildren, Trinity Baughman, Amayah Booth, Blakelyn Booth, Kymbre Booth, Nico Solis, Noah Solis and Nova Booth; his brother Bart Rustin (Phyllis) of Durant; and his nieces and nephews, Brent Rustin (Adrienne), Katia and Brock Rustin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Home (221 N 3rd Ave, Durant, OK 74701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the LifeSong Church (305 N 2nd Ave, Durant, OK 74701).
