He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Albert Cummings and Mildred Oleta Cummings (Steward); his stepson Joshua Comola; his siblings, Robert Cummings and Billie Sue Peterson; and his nephew Randal Crowder.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Best; his children, Alex Martin and Lisa Marie Cummings; his grandchildren, Tiffany Cummings, Jonisun Comola, Jace Comola and Danika Wiggs; his great grandchild Jocelyn Comola; and his sisters, Margaret Barrick (Darrell) and Barbara Crowder (James Beam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
