He is survived by: his wife Ann Thompson; his sons, Logan Thompson (Kristi), James Thompson (Elizabeth) and Dennis Thompson (Amanda); his grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Breanna Thompson, Zachary Thompson of Madeline Thompson, J. D and Isaac Thompson; his siblings, Raymond Thompson (Janice), Sharon O'Connell (Barry), Sheila Barnhill, Garland Lee White, Steven Clay White and Preston White; and his siblings' children, Jeremy White, Amber Barnhill, Joe Thompson, Cathy Gray (Russell), Johnnie Thompson, Amanda Ashmore, Jesse Thompson, Michael Thompson, Courtney Thompson and Brian Thompson.
