He was predeceased by: his parents, George Luther Townsend and Margaret Eveline Townsend (Newsome); his stepsister Pam; and his son Jamie. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marie McNally of Durant; his sister Ginny Townsend; his son Ian Townsend (Emily) of Dallas; his granddaughters, Madelyn Jane Townsend and Margaret Louisa Townsend; his daughter Christel Stuart (Austin); his grandchild Riley Paige Stuart; his stepson Benjamin Vines of Plano; his stepgranddaughter Olivia Jewel Vines; his stepdaughter Barbra Vines; his stepgranddaughter Ava Marie Vines; and his grandchildren, Charlie and Murphy.
