She was predeceased by: her parents, A. W. Barrett and Mildred Barrett; her siblings, Betty Bailey and Paul Barrett; her husband Dr. Joe Mac Maxson; and her sons, Joe Barrett Maxson and Brian Jeffory Maxson.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Maxson; her daughter-in-law Janeva Maxson; her grandchildren, Tacie Maxson (Stacy Maxson), Brantley Maxson (Amanda Maxson) and Brayden Maxson (Brittney Henry); her great grandchildren, Addie Maxson, Brooklyn Maxson, Chloe Maxson and Ivy Maxson; and her siblings-in-law, Gary, Norma Littleton and Georgia Cagle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
