He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Cole (Perkins) and Clifton Weldon Cole; his stepson Kelly O'Hern; his brother-in-law Jerry Sherrill; and his great-nephew Colton Sherrill.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Cole (Marsden) of Durant, Oklahoma; his children, Ryan Cole (Heather) of Caddo, Stephen Cole of Durant, Oklahoma and Missy Miller (Andrew) of Caddo, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Ayden Miller of Caddo, Ian Miller of Caddo, Kimber Miller of Caddo, Sonny Miller of Caddo, Olivia Workman (Gabe) of Caney and Kennedy Weaver of Caddo, Oklahoma; his great grandchild Judson Workman of Caney, Oklahoma; his sisters, Kathy McCoy (Bob) of Ardmore, Carol Sherrill of Durant and Doris Carr (Bobby) of Utica, Oklahoma; and his friend Steven Ray Satterfield (Rita). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gordon Funeral Home (221 N 3rd Ave, Durant, OK 74701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (124 Evergreen St, Durant, OK 74701).
