She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Odus Thompson and Rosa Lee Chew; her husbands, Bobby Gene Valentine and Elgie Augustus Buxton; her children, Lavonna Jean Valentine, Bobby Gene Valentine Jr. and Richard Alan Valentine; and her son-in-law Robert Goff.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Brandy Rundel of Durant and Jennifer (Billy Knudtson). She is also survived by three great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
