She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bolton and Freda Moyer Bolton; her husband Robert Allen Shelden; and her sister Dr. Sharon C. Underwood. She is survived by: her sister Janice K. Struck; her nephews, Bradley Struck and Dr. Bryan Struck; and her niece Beth Ann Roth. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home & Cremation Service (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gracelawn Cemetery (1407 North Blvd, Edmond, OK 73003).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann Jean's honor to the Northern Hills PTO, supporting the school and students to whom she devoted so much of her life.
