He was predeceased by: his siblings, Phillip L. Lewis, Jeremiah Lewis and Frankie Mae Lewis Carr; and his siblings' children, Christopher Ade, Lee McIntosh, Jerry Lewis and Robyn Carr.
He is survived by: his sisters, Christine McIntosh of Eufaula, Shirlene Ade of Wetumka, Augustine Williams of Muskogee and Remona Hill of Nashville, Illinois.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
