He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Stafford and Margareet Stafford; and his sisters, Laraine Stafford Crouch and Margaret Fae Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stafford; his children, Kimberly Cooper (Tommy) and Dawson Stafford, Jr. (Dana); his grandchildren, Erin Griffith (Chris), Ashley Logston (Dustin), Brittany Chilton (Jesse), Molly Wright (Isaac), Dillon Cooper and Macy Nevill (Jared); his great grandchildren, Blakely, Charlie, Josie Griffith, Maddox, Mason Logston, Brynlee, Elijah, Wright, Jaycie, Kyndel, Whitney Nevill and Bentley Cooper; and his nephew Brandon Crouch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
