She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Nelson; her parent Esther Moody; and her sister Joy Marsh. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Nelson (Sandra Nelson) of Ravenna, TX, Jim Nelson (Robin) of Ada, OK and Richard Nelson (Judy) of Edmond, OK.; her grandchildren, Michelle Claflin, Phillip Nelson, Kyle Nelson, Derek Nelson and Tyler Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Caitlin Baney, Carley Claflin, Zander Nelson, Presley Nelson, Declan Kelley and Rafferty Nelson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).
