He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Anderson and Martha Apphia Bell Anderson; and his siblings, Audrey Anderson, Eugene Anderson and William Leon Ray Anderson.

He is survived by: his children, Eldona Sue Anderson Woodruff of Guthrie and Stephen Michael Anderson (Beth) of Oklahoma City; his wife Carolyn Sue Hunnicutt Anderson; his grandchildren, Rebeccca Wimberly (Lindsey) of Wynnewood, Miranda Hoel (Chris) of Guthrie, Cristina Dotson (Eric) of Edmond, Michael Woodruff of Guthrie, Oklahoma., Coy Cooksey (Jennifer) of Oklahoma City, Amy Potts (Jeff) of Oklahoma City and Casey Barnett (Kalyn) of Oklahoma City; his great grandchildren, Matthew Adams, Tristan Dotson, Noah Hoel, Kaitlyn Knight, Madison Hoel, Ruby Barnett, Rose Barnett, Mary Beth Barnett, Ashton Cooksey and Koby Cooksey; his sisters, Leota Nelson (Richard) and Alveta Parks (Floyd); and his sister-in-law Louann Anderson of Chelsea. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
