It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Ann Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Cleveland, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Gayle Ann's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Talmage Vance and Edith Lucille Vance (Kinnikin). She is survived by: her husband Jack Smith (Jack); her children, David (Kim) of Stillwater and Leslie Peacock (Rick) of Choctaw; her grandchild Lieutenant Christopher Smith; and her great grandchildren, Colby, Libbie, Laila Sue and Robin.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church - Edmond (201 E 2nd St, Edmond, OK 73034).
