He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Welch and Beulah Welch (Hottinger); and his siblings, Lohman, Thomas, Paul and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Welch; his son Richard Welch (Debbie Welch); his grandson Justin Welch (Karen); and his great grandchildren, Chad, Luke and Seth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Memorial Chapel (220 N 1st St, Guthrie, OK 73044).
