He is survived by: his wife Karen Springer; his daughters, Andrea Hanson (Josh) of Schönenberg-Kübelberg, Germany and Leah Springer of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Danaka Johnson of Norman and Tucker Hanson of Germany; and his sister Sharon Springer of Pueblo, Colorado..
