Hattie Busbee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hattie Busbee of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Carl Dean and Hattie B.; her sisters, Dorothy, Wanda and Juanita Davis; her husband Loren; her daughter Jan; and her son-in-law Barry Herron.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charissa Bennings (Mark) of Prattsville, Arkansas and Sarah Herron of Edmond; her granddaughters, Ashley Pinson of Edmond, Shannon Culp (Timothy) of Prattsville, Arkansas and Amanda Elston (DaRyan) of Loranger, Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Levi, Rowan Pinson, Luke Elston and Cannon Culp; and her brother Bobby Dean (Geraldine) of Guthrie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of God Chapel (304 W Lakeview Dr, Guthrie, OK 73044). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
