He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hill and Fannie Hill (Cronon); his brother Curtis; and his nephew Carter. He is survived by: his nephews, Curtis Hill Jr. (Peggy) of Purcell, Carl Hill of Oklahoma City and Clifford Hill (Julie) of Kansas; and his friend Bill Patterson of Arkansas.

A candle has been lit

“Homer shed light in this world wherever he went. He lived two doors down from and was one of the first neighbors I met. We became instant friends. We both looked at my house when it was up for sale. He told me if I ever wanted to sell it, he would buy it. We served on the HOA board together for several years. We found out we share the same birthday. Every year going forward I will toast my friend Homer. He will be missed by many. RIP my friend”

“Homer was truly one of those people who left a light wherever he went. He lived two doors down from me and was one of the first neighbors I met and we were instant friends. We both looked at the home I bought and he told me he loved the floor plan. We served on the HOA board together for several years. He hosted the HOA picnic several times in his beautiful backyard. At some point we realized we have the same birthday. So every year on our day I will give a toast to my friend Homer. RIP friend”

“Homer was a very good friend to myself, my boyfriend David Dillard and my mother Natasha Harvey. I’ve never seen Homer when he didn’t ask about my mother and if she was doing OK. He was an old world gentleman, talked about the farm he grew up on, and how very much he loved his mother and a dog they had. I enjoyed serving on our neighborhood homeowners association board with Homer. He was a gentle and kind soul and everyone was his friend. We will miss him. Leslie Phillips .”
