He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann George Simon and Virginia Lee Simon (Hukills). He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Simon; his daughter Jillian Darr (Christopher); his sisters, Joann Moorehead and Valerie Henderson; and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by twelve nieces, and three nephews.
