Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Richard Benson (Edmond, Oklahoma), who passed away at the age of 86, on January 24, 2023. He was predeceased by: his brothers, James and Robert Benson. He is survived by: his former wife Myrna Smith; his children, Stacey Dolf (Steve) of Edmond, OK, Janet Stivers (Jerry) of Edmond, OK, Laura Locke (Russ) of Edmond, OK, Valerie Swearingin (Mark) of Lawson, MO. and Dean Lakten (Patti) of Duluth, GA.; his wife Charlene Lambert Heath; and his stepdaughters, Jodi Roth (Pete) of Lakeville, MN and Amy Kuttler (David) of Kechi, KS.. He is also survived by family includes: 16 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
