He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hunt and Nellie Hunt. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Joseph Jr., Justin, Elliott Hunt and Brenda Hunt; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Jason Hunt, Allyson, Zachary Hunt and Christina.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
