She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hood and Jettie Hood of Muskogee, Oklahoma.; her husband Ronald Ackerman; and her sister Kathleen McClendon. She is survived by: her children, Leanne McFarland (Michael), Jeffery (Teri) and Steven (Vanessa). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunny Lane Cemetery (4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John of Nepomuk Catholic Church (600 Garth Brooks Blvd, Yukon, OK 73099).
