She was predeceased by: her father Chester H. Gibbs; and her brother Joey Gibbs. She is survived by: her mother Emagene Gibbs (Cottrell) of Davis; her husband Mark Anderson Swartz; her son Michael Anderson Swartz of Queens, NY; her brother Chester Gibbs, Jr. of Davis; her sisters-in-law, Rhonda Gibbs of Davis and Susan Marie Krcik (Richard) of Des Plaines, IL; and her uncles, Floyd Cottrell (Harrietta) of Davis and Jerry Cottrell (Mona) of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
