He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Ann Bailey; his parents, Robert Lee Bailey and Mary Marjorie Smith; and his stepfather R. E. Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Marie Mason (Charles Mason); his nephew Jeff Mason; his daughter Meria Leann Priebe; his son-in-law Timothy James Priebe; and his grandsons, Joshua Ryan Priebe, Jackson Carter Priebe and Jacob Matthew Priebe.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Alameda Church of Christ (801 E Alameda St, Norman, OK 73071).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Residency at North Church in Oklahoma City to support the continued mission work of his grandson, Joshua.
