He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee and Clara Madge Hays (Phifer); his parents-in-law, Harold and Lavada Moffatt; and his brother-in-law Dr. Thomas B. Colbert.
He is survived by: his wife Suzzi; his siblings-in-law, Dr. H. Dyke Moffatt (Geri) and P. J. Joslin (Doug); his niece Jennifer O'Hagan (Doyle); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Seth, Sara, Sage and Guinnevere; his nephew Wesley Moffatt (Timi); his great-nephews, Michael and Jackson; his sibling's children, Matthew Colbert and Chelsey Matthews (Kris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Colton and Cannon.
