She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert C. Doolin and Mamie Durley Doolin (Smith); her husband Johnnie Norman Morris; her children, Norma J. Morris (Williams), Tamera R. Morris and Antonio Gill Shepard; her grandson Joseph Lee Berry; her great grandchild Johnnie N. Garrison II; and her siblings, Lena Bates, Bobbie Crump, Alfred Doolin and Raymond Doolin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leta Starr, Sharon Jackson, Shealia Garrison, Jackie Winters and Dena Plunkett.
