Iretta Thomas wrote a sympathy message

“My dear sister Melva, although it's been a year and some. I can't believe you taken your flight. The memories of us go back so far, you leaving home, getting married and starting a family was my break through to becoming an adult with many responsibilities but you taught me well! You are the reason I've became the woman I am today! I will always hold you close in my heart! Your Little Sis, Iretta”
