He was predeceased by : his mother Sandy Looper (Carson); and his grandmother Lou Carson. He is survived by : his wife Jennifer Peters; his children, Jordan Looper (Whitney), Jacob Looper (Tori), Kobe Looper and Jesse Looper; his father Larry Don Looper; his grandchildren, Amelia, Emmery, Liam Looper, Blakely, Sloan and Parker Looper; his siblings, Braden Looper and Ryan Looper; and his mother-in-law Julie Whitford (Johnny).

“I knew Michael as a newborn until he was about 2 years as I was Sandy's best friend at the time and her maid of honor at her and Larry's wedding. I watched him often and he was such a delight and remember his giggle laugh the most. Those big blue eyes and white blond hair stood out in a crowd. I was blessed to be able to fall in love with the little tike and will forever keep him in my heart. My prayers to all of his family...may his light and love shine down from heaven on all of you.”
