Though Nita may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Z. B. Burris and Bonnie Lucille Burris (Lokey); her siblings, Maxine Bednarski, Mary Jane Burgess Brewster and Gail Richard Burris (Lester Ray Smith); and her sons, Tommy Joe Evans and Ricky Gene Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Lee Evans, Cynthia Anne Smith and Jana Lyn Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
