With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Eileen Edwards of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Eileen Edwards to pay them a last tribute.

As Rita Eileen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rita Eileen. Though Rita Eileen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her siblings, Deloris Bates, Bill and Rick Fry of Iowa; her stepson Richard Edwards Jr.; and her great grandchild Nova.

She is survived by : her daughter Michele Donner Ramsey; and her stepchildren, Ted Edwards, Michael Edwards, Brad Edwards and Mona Ferrell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (8701 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73162).
