With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Ann Mayfield of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 24, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Sharon Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sharon Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her mother Lorene Cooper; and her husband Rev. Neal Mayfield. She is survived by : her daughters, Michelle, Angie and Amy; her sister Gwen; her niece Kelley; her nephew K. C.; her granddaughter Elizabeth; and her great grandchildren, Gage, Emma and Malcolm.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home (601 S Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK 73003, USA). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).
