She is survived by: her children, Joan Kern Ackley (David) and Shane Kern (Sharon); her grandsons, Andrew Elrod, Kristopher Kern (Amber), Cody Kern (Sara) and Derek Ackley (Tia); and her great grandchildren, Abbigail Ackley, Oliver Kern, Cass Kern and Lucy Kern. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
