She was loved and cherished by many people including: her pets, Leonard and Mittie; her parents, John Taylor and Eva Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma.; her brother LeWayne Taylor of Cashion; her nieces and nephews, Kaitin Taylor, Nevaeh Taylor of Edmond, Easton Taylor of Cashion and Colin Rogers of Stillwater; her cousins, Tim Alley and Robert Swinea; her aunts, Maryellen Looney and Elizabeth; her niece Montana; her friend Beverly McElroy of Oklahoma City; her grandparents, Ben Taylor, Ethel Taylor, Floyd J. Johnson, Theresa and Chitwood; her uncle Raymond Johnson; and her cousin Meara Rose Alley.
She then went on to win the Southwestern Bell Foundation scholarship that same year and wasted no time using that award toward pursuing a degree in marketing and business administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma.
