With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vicky J. Yates of Edmond, Oklahoma, born in Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Nelson Harris and Ethelyn Lavon Blackmore Harris; her stepmothers, Marjorie Eileen Blackmore and Betty Jean Harris; her half-sister Jill Shannon Johnson; and her stepsister Carolyn Sue Webb Hightower.

She is survived by: her son Chris (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Harrison, Nicole, Teagan and Sophia; her sisters, Nancy Hopkins and Joy Privette; her half-sister Jody West; and her stepbrother Jim Webb.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for charitable donations to the Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alz.org.
