He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gambel and Edith Gambel (Haas); his son Steven J. Gambel; and his brother Jim Gambel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his son Bryan Gambel (Lois) of Calumet; and his grandsons, Lane Gambeland (Taelyn) of Coweta and Barron Gambel (Shelby) of Okarche, Oklahoma. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
