She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bridges and Lillian Bridges (Darter); her husband Doyal Coward; her son Steve Coward; her son-in-law Robert Weaver; her brother J. W. Bridges; and her siblings-in-law, Verma Bridges and Wayne Haws.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Sandy Coward; her grandchildren, Micah, Jerusha Coward, Megan (Coward) and Kade Sanford; her great grandchildren, Rhett, Lyla and Lincoln; her grandchildren, Morgan (Coward) and Chris Simons; her great grandchildren, Jace, Kendall and Emma; her grandchildren, Kathy Weaver (Coward) and Ken Coward; her great grandchildren, Ashley Coward, Blake Coward and Cody Coward (Whitley Virgil); her granddaughter Tena (Coward); her brother David Bridges; her sister-in-law Judy Bridges; her sister Lynette Haws (Bridges); and also, Roland Ferenczhalmy, Nathan Ferenczhalmy, Matthew Ferenczhalmy (Julia Leblanc), Lori (Coward), Greg Strawn, Ryan, Kaitlyn Strawn, Ellie, Sallie, Berritt Strawn (Tatiana Dawson) and Lilly Strawn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
