He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Bethune and Pauline Bethune (Parker); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Bethune and Rhaena Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Florence Bethune (Weatherly); his siblings, James Bethune of Rainsville and Patricia Nelms of Crossville; his children, Angela Westbrook of Hardy, Alicia Yust (Tee) of Central High and Vincent Bethune (Laurie) of Central High, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Timi Williams (Michael) of Fallon, Marque Butler (Darren) of Grafenwohr, Kenzie Vargas (Luis) of Webb City, Kolten Bethune of Central High and Peyten Bethune of Central High, Oklahoma.; and his great grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Zayne Williams and Aria Vargas.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Denton Baptist Church (279070 Ballpark Rd, Marlow, OK 73055).
