He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mansel and Thelma Mansel (Nolen); and his siblings, Geneva Mansel, Betty Jean Workman, Roy Mansel and Burl Mansel.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Mansel, Todd Mansel (Tracy Mansel), Mike (Melissa Mansel) and Jamie Mansel Payne; his son-in-law Skip Payne of Elgin; his sister Shirley Nickell of Elgin; his wife Rita; and his stepchildren, Chris, Debbie Caldwell, Robbie Carmon, Andrea and Kevin Hardzog. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many other step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
