He is survived by : his wife Marlene Witzel McPherson; his daughters, Zoe Ann Rosenquest of Iowa Park and Peggy Hopper; his granddaughter Jonna Morgan (Cole Morgan); his great grandchildren, Michael Captain Morgan of Waxahachie and McPherson Currie Morgan of Waxahachie; his son Jacob Roy McPherson; his grandson Sam McPherson (Vickie McPherson); his great grandchild Autumn of Sanger; and his granddaughters, Charlotte McPherson and Iris McPherson.
