It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Nease (Elgin, Oklahoma), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Shirley find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Henry Putt and Betty May Putt (Pardoe); her husband Alvin Lynn Nease; her son Travis Nease; her granddaughter Ashley Romine; and her siblings, Leonard "Buddy" Wayne Putt and Anita Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Kreiner (Susan), Michael Kreiner (Jennie) of Marlow, Oklahoma and Cheryl Tracy (Max) of Foster, Oklahoma; and her sister Marcia Gochenaur (Scott) of Foster, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a host of other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
