He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffith Miller and Mae Tinsley; and his sister Barbara Sparks. He is survived by: his children, Deziree Miller, Daniella Miller, Diana Miller, Nell Pierce, Zachary Miller and Zoey Miller; his grandchildren, Sebastian Ortiz, Valentin Menis, Nicole El Abdala Miller, Isabella Menis, Nicolas Ortiz and Omar El Abdala Miller; and his brother David Soliday.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel (120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
As the second individual ever inducted into the Oklahoma Olympic Weightlifting Hall of Fame, Stephen's contributions to the sport were both historic and deeply influential.
